Accessibility statement
How we approach accessibility on this website, what we have done, and how to tell us when something does not work.
Last updated: 21 August 2026
Our aim
We want this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology.
Accessibility is considered as the site develops rather than treated as a one-off exercise. Where we identify barriers, we make reasonable efforts to remove them.
What we have done so far
The current build was written with the following in mind:
- Colour combinations checked against WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios.
- Semantic headings and landmarks.
- Keyboard-operable controls with visible focus indicators.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images, and decorative images hidden from assistive technology.
- Respect for reduced-motion preferences.
What we do not claim
We have not carried out a formal external accessibility audit, and we do not claim conformance with WCAG 2.1 AA or any other standard. Parts of the site rely on Shopify platform components that we do not fully control, including checkout.
If we make a conformance claim in future, it will be because it has been formally established.
Reporting a problem
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this website, please tell us. Include the page address and a short description of the problem, and where possible the browser and assistive technology you were using.
Email robert@mintchocmedia.com. We aim to respond within five working days.
Alternative formats
If you need information from this website in a different format, contact us and we will do what we reasonably can to provide it.
